wife has "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" blaring on the TV.  From what I gathered, the stoner-looking chick got married to the sparkly vampire.  The werewolf guy who has a crush on stoner chick didn't want her to have sex with sparkly vampire because of the possible dangers of giving birth to demon vampire spawn...something to the effect that it could kill her.  Then there was sex...but it was Christian book/movie sex, so there was nowhere close to enough nudity.  This was fine, because I don't think anyone wants to see the stoner chick naked, anyhow.  Then there was a fight scene, and a car crash, and that's it.  End scene.  There needed to be more explosions, car chase scenes, dramatic camera movements, and random nudity that didn't propel the plot.  And a meteor strike.  Yeah, it to the radio.  Much of what you hear on the air are songs that "test well" with a certain audience of a certain demographic that a radio station tries to reach.  In other words, songs that tend not to illicit negative feelings, but at the same time don't turn a listener into a raving lunatic filled with joy and excitement.  Somewhere in the middle, that's where you get a good radio song.  Being too vanilla is never a problem.  A song that has "something different", however, never makes it to the air.  It also helps if you're attractive.  Physical looks should have no say on whether or not a song becomes a hit, but that's not how it goes.  So, Meatloaf is a fantastic artist.  Most of his best songs don't fit the stereotypical Minnesota Twins:  Lucky to get to 70 wins this year Milwaukee Brewers:  85 wins, which just might win them the division Chicago Cubs:  Lucky that the Astros are still in the National League Central.  Otherwise, they'd finish last in the division. Of note, I am a Cubs fan.  They will win.  And it will be soon.  Just not this year.  The Brewers will win more games than one would think after losing the 2nd best first baseman in the game.  And the Twins...well, they have a nice stadium.
